ABOUT

The Fallen Reverend VAN TASTIK is an American Artist who has been around the world, through hell, and back again.

Beyond that bohemian past, VAN TASTIK was awarded Best Classic Rock Act of 2021 by WigWam Radio and made appearances on platforms from the BBC Live to Sniester Rock Festival.

Following successful Portugal and UK tours in 2022, and a sold out EU tour with Cam Cole in 2023 the artist tripled their following on social media - which has continued to rise as they’ve announced appearances with Big US artists and on big name EU festivals throughout 2023 all whilst teasing the release of their debut Album.

VAN TASTIK’s performances are pure passion and energy. Their songs celebrate the hardships of life creating familiarity and an unmistakable atmosphere with humor, crowd participation, hollerin’ and foot stompin’ like some forgotten Pentecostal travellin’ church service.

According to them “The Darkness” doesn’t have to be scary - it’s something within all of us we must learn to accept and express and more literally a dark room in which to celebrate the moment and come together united by his Dark Delta Blues, Blues Rock and Southern Gothic Gospel music.

¡But beware! You may leave with more energy than you came with!

And as they always say before closing off a show:

“May The Darkness be with You"  Check out VAN TASTIK's website

Kaspar 'Berry' Rapkin as a solo act has been working real hard to bring the blues back in a palatable way for the 2020's! They are the sounds of the 1920's, with stories sang about modern problems, while also paying homage to the old old blues!

Kaspar has had a great passion for blues and vintage music since he was 12. Often compared to Duane Allman, Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan, he has been described as a 100 year old soul in the body of a 23 year old as he continues to baffle people with a raw sound in the 2020's.

He grew up in London and moved to Hertfordshire when he was 9. He learned the guitar when he was 11 when a family friend with a serious disability gave one to him on the condition that Kaspar would learn how to play it.

Kaspar went to New Orleans to celebrate turning 18 where he performed in B.B. Kings Blues Club (and was discovered by Harold Marcho music producer). Harold invited Kaspar back to the states to record his first single Sailing.

He is now performing with his live band, Kaspar & The Swamp Dogs around St Albans, London and where ever he may be invited to play at.

The band (usually) consists of Ian Davidson on bass or cello and Mia Casey on drums or washboard!
