Pablo Minoli was born on April 9, 1970, in Montevideo, Uruguay. After spending early years studying guitar in Caracas, Venezuela, he moved in 1992 to Amsterda, a city that would become his musical home and the base for much of his career.
In 1989 he co-founded the band Laberinto, one of the first projects to fuse Latin rhythms with heavy metal and hardcore creating a unique “Metalatino” sound that stood out in both Latin America and Europe.
After leaving Laberinto in 2004 in search of new musical landscapes, Minoli’s versatility took center stage. He founded the extreme-metal band D‑Compose, and simultaneously expanded into soul, funk, pop and hip-hop, collaborating with well-known Dutch and international artists.
Today as an official artist-endorser for Ibanez guitars, Pablo Minoli is recognized not just as a guitarist, but as a legendary musician and producer whose career reflects deep roots, bold exploration, and creative reinvention.
