DEAN ZUCCHERO

Dean Zucchero is a New York–born bassist, songwriter and producer whose musical path took him from the downtown dives of Manhattan to the vibrant, multicultural blues‑scene of New Orleans. He honed his craft in clubs like CBGBs, The Bitter End and The Bottom Line, where rock, blues and cabaret sensibilities merged.

Today, Zucchero channels all that experience into his own music, creating a rich “gumbo” of rock, blues, funk, zydeco, jazz and R&B, a sound rooted in the traditions of Louisiana, Mississippi and Chicago, yet flavored by his cosmopolitan background.
