Bourbon street 1990
After years of working at the venue when it was still a discotheque, Ricardo Reeberg and Bert Hendriks joined forces on September 21st, 1990, to create what has since become one of the most iconic music venues in Amsterdam. Seeking a change from the club scene of the time, they envisioned a space inspired by the soulful, vibrant spirit of New Orleans, a place where live music, authenticity and atmosphere would take center stage.
With a strong focus on blues, jazz, funk and soul, Bourbon Street was born as a home for musicians and music lovers alike, quickly earning a reputation for its intimate setting, high-quality live performances and international character.
