7 NIGHTS A WEEK
The Russell Sinclair Band
Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1988 and living in Devon from 1989, Russell is a singer songwriter from Plymouth drawing influence from many different genres of music, predominantly rock and blues. His debut 4-track EP was self-released in April 2013, entitled Plymouth Tapes, Vol. 1 and is part of an EP trilogy aimed at capturing the songs in their stripped down basic form performed alone on acoustic guitar and stompbox.
As well as writing and recording, Russell is building a great reputation for his live performances and is building an enthusiastic fan-base. Russell frequently performs with The Smokin' Locos and will be recording his debut album in 2014. Russell has played support slots for touring artists when they're in Devon and continues to grow his reputation as a live artist with slots at the Plymouth Rhythms and Blues Festival and at the Truro Blues Festival in October 2013 where he joined the headline acts at both events during their sets to play on a few songs.
In 2014 Russell will embark on a small self-funded UK tour with the band to promote his debut album. Now, you can see this Scottish blues talent on our side of the North Sea. For not one, but two night. Only at Bourbon Street.
